MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) enable real-time planning, monitoring, and management of production processes.

Production is organized through digital work orders that allocate the necessary raw materials, machines, and personnel. These orders are distributed via a networked information system to each production center for execution.

Execution data is collected as automatically as possible—directly from control systems, via barcode scanners, or, when no other option is available, through customized user interfaces.

Beyond tracking production status through individual work orders, the collected data allows precise allocation of input and output materials, tracking of secondary material and energy consumption, and creation of product genealogy.
